It is the goal of the Academy of Our Lady Library that each student becomes a successful, self-aware learner who can: identify, plan, and use resources; acquire and evaluate information; organize and maintain information; interpret and communicate information; and work with a variety of information technologies.

Academy of Our Lady is dedicated to maintaining a library program that supports, complements, and expands the instructional program of the school. The library provides a learning environment which promotes inquiry, stimulates intellectual curiosity, encourages pleasure reading, and develops diverse interests for the enjoyment of life-long learning. Additionally, the library has a lounge seating area which offers students a comfortable and engaging space to create, study, collaborate and become independent users of information resources.
